My first day flew on by. I mostly tried my best to get some rest. The rest of the day was spent Changing out US dollars for pesos. Shopping around Jarabacoa for household items...soaps shampoos,towels, cups. A couple of the girls who moved into empty apartments bought beds...so cheap.
Things i need to get used to:
-muggy, hotness during the day!
-walking up and down hills(soar)
-the currency here
Highlights of the day:
-Waking up looking out the window(my first look since daylight) and seeing the city with all the mountains in the back ground. it was breathtaking!
-The drive in the taxi cab...i was so scared! Praying the whole time. Adventure indeed.
Tara we are so proud of both of you. You are doing exactly what we all should do. That is putting forth our goals into action. Jehovah will guide you and bless you for your efforts. We miss you. You are in out thoughts and prayers. With Love the Ortiz Family.
